Onda Verde publishes every three months a newsletter called “Folhas Verdes” (Green Leaves) which is distributed in all schools of V. N. de Gaia, schools belonging to the network, Portuguese Environmental N.G.O.’s and its associates.

Onda Verde promotes National and International (one-to-one and multilateral) Exchanges in the field of Environment. Every year Summer Camps are organised within the Programme “Férias em Movimento” of the IPJ (Portuguese Youth Institute).

Onda Verde organises sport activities aimed at young people, such as: archery, paintball, climbing, rappel, slide, trekking, canoeing, speleology, among others.

Onda Verde represents the Environmental N.G.O.’s in several organisms. It is a member of the board of CPADA (Portuguese Confederation of Environmental Defence Organisations) and FAJDP (Federation of Youth Associations of Porto).
